The most common form of Trust is a simple Family Trust to own your family home. The
Trustees of the Trust would be the current owners plus an Independent Trustee. Collins
& May have an lndependent Trustee Company called CMS Trustees Limited which is
available to all clients at no extra charge to act as an lndependent Trustee on their
Trusts.

Once the Trust has been created it does not have any assets or income and will need
to borrow the money from the current owners to fund the purchase of the property. This
money can then be forgiven each year to a maximum of $27,000.00 by way of a gift.
Collins & May administer the gifting programme on behalf of all existing Trust clients on
an annual basis for a nominal fee.
